Terms and conditions - Updated 27/02/10
1: Insurances
- Customers are advised to have appropriate insurance for own Goods in concern.
- This company will not be held liable for any Goods prior loading or outside vehicle.
- Company insurance only validates when Goods inside vehicle.
- Cover of Goods-In-Transit as follows:
A - £50.00 per consignment. ( pallets exempt of this cover )
B - Maximum of £200.00 per consignment. Extra charge £10.00 to secure this cover. ( pallets exempt of this cover )
C - Pallets £1.50 per kilogram. ( Goods must not exceed dimensions of pallet.)
- Hazardous Goods are prohibited which effects Insurance cover. Examples: Hazardous Goods
- Cheques,cash,postal orders,lottery tickets are prohibited of carriage.
2: Packaging
- Customers must ensure items in concern should be packed appropriately before collections.
3: Communications
- Incorrect information such as addresses delivered would affect rate.Re-delivery at normal rate for specific service.
- Waiting time 15mins Free. Thereafter £5.00 per half hour .
- Cancelling your collection as follows:
*Collection booked over the phone can be cancelled free of charge up to 18:00 only the day before collection is due.
*Cancelled collections on day of delivery - 50% off owed from normal rate of specific services on L-S-A or O-L-A
- Light Removals (House/Office) are excluded of waiting time.
- Contracts on agreement terms are excluded of waiting time.
- Description to areas with difficult access must be indicated prior delivery to avoid delays.
- Dominique couriers has the right to cancel any delivery only due to Transportation failures / day and times or in-effective costs.
4: Time limit for claims
This company shall not be liable for any loss or damage to Goods unless the claim is made in writing along with delivery note and recieved by this company within 14 days after the consignment of transit.
Dominique couriers will refund 50% of carriage cost if consignment undelivered on date agreed which have been booked and paid prior day before collection date.
Exempt of carriage refund :
a:Consignee not present at address.( All failed consignments are logged and notification issued for re-delivery generated ).
b:Vehicle transportation failures.
c:Extreme bad weather conditions.
.*This refund only applies with direct transaction with Dominique couriers.
5: Payment Terms
- Cheques are not accepted as payment.
- Invoicing terms of 30 days thereafter job completions / BACS.
- Standing Orders accepted.
- Cash accepted.
6: Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions and any contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law and the English Courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes between us.
